“you don’t have to learn. how. to love yourself. you just have to remember there was nothing wrong. with you. to begin with. you just have to come home.”

I'm happy to be offering therapy for adolescents as they find their footing this school year. I see the teenage years as a uniquely meaningful time in life, full of growth, change, and discovery.
I also believe it’s a time that deserves thoughtful, caring, and judgment-free support. There’s so much to navigate: complex family and school dynamics, shifting friendships, questions of identity and belonging, the pressure of preparing for the future, and so much more. Sending care to all the teens and parents of teens who may find this season especially challenging.
For teens and adolescents living between worlds…
Being a teenager can mean navigating a lot of different worlds at once: family expectations, friendships, school pressures, questions about identity, and the uncertainty of who you're becoming.
For some teens, especially those who are mixed-race or Asian American, children of immigrants, gender-expansive, or otherwise navigating multiple cultures and communities, these experiences can bring added layers of complexity.
In therapy, we can make space for all of it: questions of identity and belonging, family dynamics, friendships and relationships, anxiety, grief, self-esteem, and the pressure to meet expectations or have it all figured out.
Therapy can be a space to slow down, feel understood, explore who you are beyond others' expectations, and develop a stronger sense of trust in yourself.
Come as you are.

We'll also go over any questions you have and what the next steps could look like.
