About me
I am a Lost Coast off-gridder turned city gal and a political activist turned psychotherapist. I am mixed race (Chinese and Russian Jewish), second-generation born in the U.S., from a working-class background, and able-bodied (with some experience of chronic pain due to scoliosis).
I studied counseling psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies, completed practicum at Church Street ICC, and currently work at the Center for Mindful Psychotherapy.
I believe it is a gift to witness your vulnerability and truth. Thank you for sharing yourself, exactly as you are. I aim for deep presence with my own process, owning what is mine so that I can be with what is yours. I commit to remaining curious. I treasure the role of collaborator and guide, while holding the value that you are the expert of your own experience.
Some of the big themes I have grappled with in my life are grief, workaholism, hyper-responsibility, sexuality and gender, body image and scoliosis, spirituality and psychedelics, depression and anxiety, attachment, assault, traumatic stress, individualism and collectivism, monogamy and polyamory, trust and infidelity, and disconnection from creativity.
I am sensitive, love to laugh, nibble on chocolate chips, walk with my partner and dog, read and write, and nerd out on astrology.
